fashion sketch

Hey dolls!!!!
 I guess you all are doing great!!! Today is all about drawing a sketch, bringing your designs to life on paper.Before you learn how to sew of even take perfect measurements, you have to know how to sketch a design of your dress or outfit you intend to sew or make. Reason is because, you don't have to know how to sew to be a fashion designer!!! Oh yes but you have to know how to design and sketch what you intend to make for a client ad what you want your tailors to sew.
 I am going to show you how to make a sketch for beginners... note it is not a professional sketch, it is just how I started sketching years back.

STEP 1
 Make a plain  sketch of the outfit you intend to sew

STEP 2
 Add details to it.

STEP 3. Draw a and a circle where the head should be.

 STEP 4 draw the neck

 STEP 5 draw the arms, Hehehe don't mind my arms.

 STEP 6 draw a one leg across

STEP 7 draw the other leg in the opposite direction

 All done dolls!!! Remember! It is all about the outfit and design, so concentrate on sketching your outfit first, the head, legs and arm will follow. At least for now before you become a pro!!! I would love to see pictures of your sketches. Soon. !!! All the best dolls xoxo till our next lesson!!!
